Traffic Restored After Van Fire on M55 Westbound

Traffic on the M55 westbound carriageway has returned to normal following a van fire earlier this afternoon. The incident, which occurred between 2:15 and 2:30pm near Junction 2, brought emergency services to the scene and caused temporary disruption for drivers heading towards Blackpool.

Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service confirmed they were called at 2:13pm to reports of a van and horse box alight.
