Police issue appeal following late night RTC

Blackpool police have appealed for information following a collision last night leaving one man in hospital in a serious condition.

Lancashire police released the following info about the incident
We are appealing for witnesses and footage after a motorcycle rider was left with serious injuries following a road traffic collision in Blackpool.

Our officers were called to the Promenade, Blackpool at approximately 9pm on Sunday 23rd August following reports a man riding a black Kawasaki motorcycle had been injured following a collision with a white Toyota Prius.

It was reported that the driver of the Toyota attempted to turn in the road before colliding with the motorcycle rider.

The motorcycle rider, a man in his 40s, was taken to hospital with serious injuries where he remains at this time.

The driver of the Toyota remained at the scene and is assisting Police with enquiries.
